What is a social enterprise?
social enterprises are businesses that trade in order to pursue a social aim. social enterprises are diverse and operate at many levels. they include community enterprises, social firms and mutual organisations such as co-operatives and large-scale operations operating nationally and internally. what they have in common is a commitmment to meeting social and financial needs, with some also aiming to meet environmental needs.

The first round of the Hackney youth Championship Cup, went well over 8 teams entered, splitting into two seven a side teams with up to 3 subs. Over 80 under 12 boys played on Mabley Green on 10th November.
Round two will be played on our new site on Saturday 8th December at North Marsh 2007.
On Saturday 1 st December Hackney youth football League are inviting GIRLS teams to play in a league on Saturday morning. for more information: call ANDY WILKES 0795 808 6785 or email andywwilkes@aol.com
Next league match will be on South MARSH on 17th and 24th November from 9.30 to noon.

Football at Haggerston Park Astroturf, Thursdays 4:15 – 5.30 pm
West Ham United, working with Hackney Football Partnership is offering FREE football coaching sessions for boys and girls aged 6-11 years old, throughout the Academic year. These first coaching sessions will commence after half term on Thursday 28th February 2008, the sessions will start at 4.15pm and finish at 5.30pm and will take place on the new state-of-the-art soccer pitches at Haggeston Park Astro.
The training sessions will be provided by professionally trained and qualified West Ham United coaching staff will ensure that young players have fun, in a dynamic, learning environment. Whilst also getting the opportunity to participate in organised coaching sessions, games and the chance to join local junior clubs in the borough.
Haggerston Park Astroturf every Thursdays except school holidays 4:15 - 5:30
